ABU DHABI DESERT CHALLENGE
El Abu Dhabi Desert Challenge, uno de los rally raid más antiguos del mundo, organizado por Emirates Motorsports Organization (EMSO), fue creado en 1991 por el actual Presidente de la FIA, Mohammed Ben Sulayem.
La carrera adquirió rápidamente una dimensión internacional, con los nombres más importantes de los deportes de motor participando en el evento para enfrentarse a las dunas del implacable desierto de Rub'Al Khali, también llamado el Empty Quarter, el mayor océano de arena del mundo.
Desde hace 33 años, gracias al patrocinio del gobierno de Abu Dhabi, la asociación estratégica establecida con el Consejo de Deportes de Abu Dhabi y la estrecha relación con ADNOC, el Abu Dhabi Desert Challenge respeta los más altos niveles de seguridad y de organización, permitiendo a los participantes beneficiarse de infraestructura de clase mundial. El Abu Dhabi Desert Challenge es considerado hoy por los competidores como una de las carreras más técnicas del calendario.

Para su 33ª edición, el Abu Dhabi Desert Challenge se centrará en la continuidad, añadiendo algunas novedades. En 2024 aparecerá un nuevo vivac y los competidores entrarán en la región de Al Dhafra, después de un primer paso exitoso en 2023.
