S.P.

  • Prior to her hugely impressive 2024 Dakar debut, Sara Price was relatively unknown in the world of rally raid, but back in the States she’s been a very big deal for a long time. She started riding dirt bikes at the age of 8, winning 19 amateur titles and medalling at the 2010 X-Games.
  • As the most decorated female amateur in motocross, she became the first fully supported female factory MX racer with Monster Energy Kawasaki, winning a medal at the X Games.
  • In 2012, she transitioned to UTV racing, claiming the Women’s Championship in the Terracross, going undefeated in every round of the Series and competing in multiple disciplines as a driver. She also led laps in the Stadium SUPER Truck Series, becoming the first woman to do so.
  • In 2019, Sara made history by IronWomaning the infamous Baja 1000 and becoming the first woman to win the SCORE International Trophy Truck Spec Championship. She joined Chip Ganassi Racing’s Extreme-E team in 2021, adding another major win to her resume.
  • In 2023, she dominated in her Can-Am with victories at the Mint 400, California 300, Baja 500, and the Sonora Rally, winning the Road to Dakar and the Triple Crown Championship.
  • As a warm-up for the Dakar, she entered the 2023 Rallye du Maroc in October, where she won her first-ever special on stage 2 and followed it up with another stage win the very next day!
  • Expectations were high for her first Dakar, and Sara didn’t disappoint, winning a T4 stage on the same day her partner Ricky Brabec was the fastest on two wheels. She also won the Rookies Award and finished at the foot of the podium.
