- Rebecca Busi, 29, made her Dakar Classic debut in 2022, where she finished in her first appearance. In 2023, she raced in SSV with Giulia Maroni but retired on stage 12. For 2024, she teamed up with Sergio Lafuente and finished 22nd in SSV (and P3 in W2RC).
- She spent the year training and racing with Sergio Lafuente, including rounds of the Chilean Rally Championship, the Atacama series, and the Italian Baja, while continuing to build experience together as a crew.
- For 2026, she joins X-raid, driving their factory Fenic SxS and steps into Challenger category with a completely new car and new environment.
- Despite the new challenge, she remains confident thanks to a strong partnership with Sergio Lafuente and a season of intensive training both in the gym and behind the wheel.
