- On the 2025 Dakar, there won’t be one but two Al Attiyahs on the start line of the rally. Indeed after triumphant Nasser, winner of the Dakar five times in the cars class, his younger brother Khalifa Al Attiyah will be returning to the event.
- Khalifa was indeed present four years ago and impressed on his debut. In a Can-Am SSV he claimed a stage win and finished 9th
- Like his brother, he started competing in regular rallies in the Middle-East Rally Championship. More recently he took part in the Qatar Baja and Dubai International Baja in one of the Taurus of his brother’s team Nasser Racing.
- At his side for his second Dakar, the 46-year-old will have Argentina’s Bruno Jacomy.
