- Abdulaziz is the youngest star of the Alkuwari family, well known in Qatar and the Middle-east for being one of the most prestigious dynasties in motorsports. His father competed in rallies and his brother (also his team mate) has 7 MERC titles as a co-driver.
- Not only is he a fast driver, he’s also an excellent padel player competing in major international tournaments
- Alongside his brother Nasser and in a Skoda Fabia RS, he this year claimed his first ever FIA Middle-East Rally Championship title, like the legendary Nasser Al Attiyah who had won 19 titles before him.
- Abdulaziz will be discovering the Dakar for the first time as part of the Nasser Racing team, behind the steering wheel of a Taurus. He could well become one of the good surprises of this Dakar.
