- Johnny Campbell is a living legend of the American Bajas, which he has dominated on his Honda 600 XR since signing with the brand in 1992. With 11 victories in the Baja 1000 and 5 in the Baja 500, Johnny also finished 8th and 1st rookie in the Dakar 2001.
- Preston is none other than Johnny Campbell's son. At 26, Preston has already made a first name for himself in the Californian desert, winning Vegas to Reno in 2024 (with Justin Morgan) and the last two editions of the Mint 400 (with Ricky Brabec).
- For his first rally raid in 2025, Preston won the Sonora Rally.
- Selected by Ruben Faria, team manager of the official Honda team, he joined HRC's new Rally2 programme alongside Portugal's Martim Ventura. Already a durability test rider for the Honda rally-raid team, Preston was set to make his world championship debut in the last two rounds of 2025 before competing in his first Dakar in January 2026.
