- The W2RC has unveiled its 2026 calendar, featuring 5 races held on 4 continents in season 5 of the FIA-FIM Rally-Raid Championship.
- In order to score points in the Manufacturers, Drivers and Navigators Championships, competitors must register after the final round of the 2025 season, the Rallye du Maroc (10–17 October). Registrations for the 2026 Championship are opened from October 6 to December 12, 2025.
- 2026 FIA Updates: Four new titles have been created (FIA Rally-Raid Championship for Stock Drivers, FIA Rally-Raid Championship for Stock Navigators, FIA Rally-Raid Championship for Stock Manufacturers, FIA Rally-Raid Championship for Teams*)
- For FIA categories (ULTIMATE, CHALLENGER, SSV) and FIM RallyGP, competitors will need to register for the whole season.
- For the FIMRALLY2, RALLY3, and QUAD** categories, Championship registration will be included in the registration for each championship race. This means that competitors in these categories who register for a W2RC race will automatically score points for the Rally-Raid Championship and compete with each other.
- Malle Moto category in Rally2 (optional)
Organizers may choose to offer a Malle Moto category for Rally2 riders without assistance. This includes, in particular, the transport of personal belongings by the organizer and is subject to specific sporting regulations. The exact terms will be defined by each event organizer. Malle Moto participants will score points towards the FIM Rally-Raid World Cup for Rally2 riders.

**The Dakar 2026 and Abu Dhabi Desert Challenge 2026 will not be open to Rally3. The QUAD category will not be included in Dakar 2026.
